Mountain Area Wireless Relay Network Project

Project Background: The client required a wireless communication network to connect multiple monitoring points located in mountainous terrain. Fiber deployment was not feasible due to geographical constraints and high construction costs. Solution: HTTEC designed a multi-hop wireless relay network using long-range outdoor wireless radios and directional antennas. The network architecture ensured stable links between relay nodes and the central control site. Deployment Details: Environment: mountainous / hilly terrain; Network type: Multi-hop wireless relay; Frequency band: 5 GHz; Application: remote monitoring & data transmission. Result: The wireless relay network was successfully deployed, providing reliable communication across challenging terrain. The system has been operating stably with minimal maintenance and supports future network expansion.
